Arts Integration CAPtivates Young Minds!

led by: Dr. Shaneka Ferrell, Melanie Hammer, Jacqueline Peterson, Luisa Reis

This workshop will support educators in learning more about Arts Integration, and how it can be used in and out of the core classroom. We will discuss the importance of a collaborative approach between the art teacher and the content teacher. We will provide sample lesson plans that you can use within your classrooms to expose students to the arts integration model of learning. A demonstration will be taught by a full-time teaching artist fellow who will guide you through the process of planning and implementing the lesson.
